FEDUSA SETS THE RECORD STRAIGHT :  DR. DENNIS GEORGE

1. The Federation of Unions of South Africa (FEDUSA) has noted the statements made by former General Secretary, Dr. Dennis George, that indicates he has been cleared from wrongdoing by the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) ;
2. These statements are factually inaccurate and further in breach of his undertakings in the agreement reached at the CCMA ;
3. FEDUSA has called upon George to retract his statements as these are patently false and further in breach of his undertaking in the agreement ;
4. FEDUSA, in compliance with the agreement reached, states as follows in respect of the matter, as captured in Annexure 1 below.
